PROJECT MANAIA

Project Manaia is a small but growing Ocean Conservation NGO based in Austria that works at Sea. It crosses the Mediterranean on a mission to preserve Seagrass, investigate invasive species, and clear out marine debris.

After a couple of successful years in the Mergui Archipelago, Myanmar its focus became the Mediterranean Sea. Working from a 21m sailboat Project Manaia invites marine biologists to share their ideas and researches and activate them while sailing across the Med. Project Manaia supplies the home, equipment and resources and invited guests can do what they trained to do: Science.
